This function of this position is to direct, manage, and provide project engineering leadership, from concept development, through detailed designs, to construction and operation of the wind farm; including ensuring that the wind farm is operating at maximum efficiency within the specified budget.

Requirements:
- The ability to review and provide technical support for project specifications as defined in a power purchase agreement to ensure performance specifications can be met or exceeded by the power producer
- Coordinate and evaluate implementation schedules to ensure operating schedules are realistic and achievable from both a timing and costs viewpoint
- Work closely with the company's legal staff to ensure documents, reports, and power purchase agreements are written clearly and accurately
- Assist in developing project specific construction specifications, bidding and contractor selection
- Understand and manage contracts, engineering and construction interfaces, project controls, project correspondence, and project reporting
- Thoroughly familiarize yourself with all project documentation
- Assist in developing the basic plan for executing and controlling the logistics, engineering, design, and construction of the project
- Set up and maintain the Project Management Information System (PMIS) to provide necessary document control and project reporting and accounting
- Develop and maintain the project master schedule using best-in-class techniques and appropriate scheduling software with input from other project management personnel
- Prepare project capital budgets, specifications, and Requests for Proposals
- Review plans and procedures periodically, and institute changes, as requested
- Manage document control efforts by overseeing incoming and outgoing documentation. that which is produced, organized, distributed, filed, and administered to internal and external clients
- Update project action item lists, as required
- Participate in all project meetings and conference calls
- Coordinate all site engineering and construction issues with the Director, Project Management, Site Project Manager, and the Contractor's Project Manager
- Perform quality control checks on all engineering and construction work on the project site to meet contractual obligations and permitting compliance
- Identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures that arise or that may be encountered; inform team members, track, supervise, and document that all corrective actions are taken
- Foster and develop a spirit of project team effort; maintain effective communications with all team members
- Assist in the resolution of problems and differences of opinion
- Anticipate, avoid, and minimize potential problems by maintaining current knowledge of overall project status
- Be able to produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards
- Review new issue drawings and contract documents for change of conditions (quantify impact of changes and communicate to the affected parties)
- Prepare monthly cost projections using the information generated from the PMIS, assist field personnel in preparing detailed short interval schedules as required, and prepare cash flow projections as required for project reporting and evaluations
- Lead and manage contracts and the change order process as directed to ensure compliance with Agreement documents and procedures
- Perform constructible reviews with design, engineering, and construction personnel for optimum performance and installation
- Participate in the engineering, design, and construction review process of all portions of the project
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete for all project work
- Provide reports on projects as requested

Qualifications:
- Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong working knowledge and experience of commercial wind power generation and wind turbine technology, on-grid systems, contractual and PPA negotiations
- A minimum of 15 years of related work experience in the commercial wind power generation industry, with experience of on-grid wind farms preferred
